Sime Motors to increase service centres supporting BYD


PETALING JAYA: Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, aims to strengthen its aftersales service for the brand with the expansion of its network to 21 service centres nationwide to date.

With 21 service centres strategically covering both Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah and Sarawak, including 17 authorised service centres equipped with body repair and paint services, Sime Motors said the the extensive aftersales network for BYD’s range of electric vehicles (EVs) provides seamless support, with a focus on customer accessibility spanning key regions such as Penang, the Klang Valley, Johor Baru, the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, and Sarawak and Sabah.

“These facilities provide expert body repair services, supported by certified EV technicians with the required knowledge and equipment such with advanced tools and hydraulic service bays to handle the range of BYD vehicles.

“Wrapping up 2024, BYD Sime Motors remains dedicated to setting new standards in customer care, ensuring a seamless, reliable and rewarding ownership experience for EV customers in Malaysia, setting the stage for continued growth and innovation in 2025,” the company said.
