Kitacon bags jobs from PKNS, Gamuda unit


PETALING JAYA: Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd has won two jobs worth RM203.9mil cumulatively to build residential properties for Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) and Gamuda Bhd’s unit, Bandar Serai Development Sdn Bhd.

PKNS awarded a RM60.9mil main building works contract to Kitacon for 218 units of townhouses with other amenities in Selangor Cyber Valley, Sepang.

“The contract shall commence on Jan 20, 2025 and is to be completed within 104 weeks from the commencement date,” Kitacon said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

In a separate filing, Kitacon said it has secured a contract worth RM143mil from Bandar Serai Development – the developer of the Gamuda Gardens township in Rawang – to provide main building works for 209 units of two-storey terrace houses and 28 units of semi-detached houses, along with several other facilities.

“The contract shall commence on Jan 2, 2025 and is to be completed within 18 months from the commencement date.”
