Nestcon wins RM32mil civil works contract


PETALING JAYA: Nestcon Bhd has accepted a letter of award worth RM31.61mil from Mightyprop Sdn Bhd for the rock blasting and other general works in Damansara Perdana, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction firm said the contract is for the road and drainage for the proposed development of 20 blocks of office towers, five blocks of serviced apartments and sohos, six blocks of serviced apartments and affordable homes, business spaces, a hotel, a private school, an auditorium and other relevant facilities.

“The date of commencement shall be Nov 15, 2024, and the overall completion period for the contract works shall be 12 months commencing from the date of commencement.”

Nestcon said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing of the company throughout the duration of the job.
