Reza appointed as Sapura’s acting MD


PETALING JAYA: Sapura Resources Bhd has redesignated Reza Abdul Rahim as the executive director of the company and has appointed him as the acting managing director or MD effective immediately.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, it said Reza will temporarily assume the duties, functions, powers and authorities of the MD.

With this appointment, the chief corporate officer, Mai Eliza Mior Mohamad Zubir, shall cease to be the officer-in-charge of the company.

Sapura Resources added that Datuk Shahriman Shamsuddin will remain on a leave of absence and that the investigative proceeding is still underway with no determination made.
