Mustaffa Kamal Abu Bakar is Dialog CEO


PETALING JAYA: Dialog Group Bhd has promoted its chief operating officer (COO) Mustaffa Kamal Abu Bakar to the position of chief executive officer.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Dialog said Keith Collins, who was the managing director of upstream oil and gas and a member of the executive leadership team, had assumed the role of COO with effect from Oct 7.

Mustaffa Kamal, 60, was formerly with PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd for five years and with other oil and gas-related companies in design consultancy, construction and fabrication, and maintenance and specialised services.

He is also a Council Member of the Malaysian Gas Association. Collins, a Briton aged 63, has more than 41 years of oil and gas experience and has considerable expertise in upstream management, drilling and field development activities abroad and in Malaysia.
