Golden Pharos appoints Mohd Roslan Mamat as CEO, effective Sept 13

KUALA LUMPUR: Timber firm Golden Pharos Bhd has appointed Mohd Roslan Mamat as chief executive officer (CEO), effective Sept 13.

Mohd Roslan, 46, was serving as acting CEO since March 13, 2024.

Prior to joining Golden Pharos, Mohd Roslan held various positions at Terengganu Inc. He began in August 2015 as head of risk management and was appointed chief governance officer in January 2016. In November of the same year, his role expanded to include acting as chief operating officer.

From December 2019 to March 2024, Mohd Roslan served as head of internal audit at TDM Bhd, a subsidiary of Terengganu Inc.

He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the International Islamic University Malaysia and holds Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP) from the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance.
