Rohas gets RM123mil deal from Gamuda


PETALING JAYA: Rohas Tecnic Bhd has received a letter of award from Gamuda Bhd for works pertaining to phase two of the Sg Rasau water treatment plant, worth RM123mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Rohas said the contract was secured via the Rohas-Euco Industries Bhd – One Ocean Environment Sdn Bhd Consortium.

The consortium comprised Rohas-Euco Industries Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rohas and One Ocean Environment Sdn Bhd, which had accepted the letter of award from Gamuda M&E Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Gamuda.

Rohas said the contract entailed the provision of design review, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning and maintenance of process package two.

“The Sg Rasau package two project is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025,” it said.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Sg Rasau Package 2 project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Rohas group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2024 and 2025 and a positive financial impact is expected on the earnings per share and net assets per share of Rohas group.
