Tuju Setia unit bags RM248mil job in Selangor


KUALA LUMPUR: Tuju Setia Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Pembinaan Tuju Setia Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM247.95mil contract from Sime Darby Property (SJ7) Sdn Bhd, a unit of Sime Darby Propety Bhd, for the proposed construction of the Hype Residences in USJ 7, Subang Jaya, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said that the project comprises two towers with 35 levels of business service apartments each as well as one mechanical floor and a five-level podium carpark.

There will also be residence facilities and amenities.

The contract is for a duration of 33 months, tentatively scheduled to commence today.

Tuju Setia independent non-executive chairman Tengku Datuk Seri Ahmad Shah Alhaj Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj is deemed an interested party in the contact as he is also a non-independent non-executive director of Sime Darby Property.
