AWC banks on strong order book


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd is cautiously optimistic of its financial performance with the remaining quarter for the current financial year.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its order book of RM707mil will continue to underpin its earnings visibility, moving forward.

For the third quarter ended March 31, 2024, AWC’s net profit rose to RM6.43mil from RM4.56mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue dipped to RM91.23mil from RM94.89mil previously.

For the nine-month period ended March 31, 2024, AWC’s net profit dropped to RM12.74mil from RM15.52mil, while revenue rose to RM296.86mil from RM287.46mil a year earlier.
