Kimlun bags RM143mil Johor project


PETALING JAYA: Kimlun Corp Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kimlun Sdn Bhd, has accepted an award of a construction contract from Melia Spring Sdn Bhd for main building works for a serviced apartment in Johor Baru worth RM143mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the construction work is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Kimlun Group for the financial years during the contract period.

“None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the company or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above contract,” it said.
