SEB bags underwater service deal


PETALING JAYA: Sapura Energy Bhd’s (SEB) wholly owned subsidiary, Sapura Subsea Services Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a contract from Sarawak Shell Bhd (SSB) and Sabah Shell Petroleum Co Ltd (SSPC) for underwater support services.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SEB noted the contract is for a five-year period starting Jan 31, 2024. The contract is a call-out contract with agreed unit rates.

The scope of work includes, among others, the provision of diving support vessels, air and saturation diving systems, and other underwater services related to SSB’s and SSPC’s facilities.
