HeiTech Padu gets RM13.11mil contract extension from immigration dept

PETALING JAYA: Heitech Padu Bhd has received a contract extension worth RM13.11mil for the comprehensive maintenance and service contract for the Immigration Department's Malaysian Immigration System.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, HeiTech Padu said the contract extension is for a period of 12 months commencing from Feb 18, 2024 to Feb 17, 2025.

“Any further renewal or extension of the duration is at the discretion of the Government.

“The contract extension is in the best interest of the company and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024 and Dec 31, 2025.
