Coastal wins contract extension in Mexico

PETALING JAYA: Coastal Contracts Bhd is in a good position as the contract extension from Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) for its gas sweetening services contract at the Perdiz plant in Mexico will provide recurring earnings over the next few years.

The contract extension is expected to contribute positively to the company’s earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2024 and Dec 31, 2025. Pemex is Mexico’s state-owned petroleum company.
