KUALA LUMPUR: Minetech Resources Bhd announced a slew of boardroom changes including the appointment of Emma Yazmeen Yip Mohd Jeffrey Yip as executive director.
Emma, 29, is currently the finance director of ADAP Capital Sdn Bhd. She is currently coordinating and overseeing the group of companies, projects and investments.
She is responsible for maintaining strategic alliances with business partners and associates, reducing business operational inefficiencies and costs, as well as providing strategic financial direction which includes budgeting, planning and ongoing business analysis.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Lancaster and Sunway University.
Minetech also announced the redesignation of Ahmad Rahizal Ahmad Rasidi, 40 as executive director.
Meanwhile, the company also announced the resignation of Choy Sen @ Chin Kim Sang and Chin Sheong Choy.
Sheong Choy is the brother of Chin Leong Choy, the executive director of the company.
In addition, Chin Jet Choy ceased to be the alternate director to Choy Sen following his resignation.
Minetech closed down two sen to 15.5 sen with 262.71 million shares traded.
