High expectations


AMID market challenges and inflationary pressures, the most Malaysian investors surveyed are optimistic, with 92% (versus 87% globally and 90% in South East Asia) expecting returns to be either identical to or higher than last year.

Strikingly, the majority of Malaysian investors expect annual returns of 12.4%, higher than the global average of 11.5%, according to Schroders Global Investor Study 2023.
