KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's finance ministry on Wednesday reiterated it had no intention to peg the Malaysian ringgit or impose controls on foreign exchange, as the currency trades near historical lows.
"The Government... will continue to manage risks from domestic and external developments using its basic operational instruments to ensure an orderly market," Deputy Finance Minister Steven Sim said in parliament. - Reuters
