Maybank to buy 20% of MAMG for RM70mil


PETALING JAYA: Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) is exercising a put option to dispose of all of its Maybank Asset Management Group Bhd (MAMG) shares to Malayan Banking Bhd for RM70.39mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) said the MAMG shares acquisition represents a 20% stake or 8.34 million ordinary shares held by PNB in MAMG.
