Central Global bags RM15.24mil subcontract works


KUALA LUMPUR: Central Global Bhd’s (CGB) wholly-owned subsidiary, Proventus Bina Sdn Bhd (PBSB) has secured a RM15.24mil subcontract works in Lahad Datu, Sabah.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CGB said PBSB accepted a letter of award from the third-party main contractor, Mahiribu Sdn Bhd

The job entails the supply of plant, machinery, labour and material required for the construction and completion of the rural water supply project system reticulation 2018/2019 Sabah Lahad Datu division.

The contract period is from Oct 18, 2023 until April 16, 2025.

“The acceptance of the contract is in the ordinary course of business of PBSB and will enhance the existing order book and is expected to provide a steady stream of revenue to the group over the next one and a half years.

“The contract will have no effect on the share capital of the company but is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial years ending 2023 to 2025,” it said.
