ESG Solutions sees unique opportunities in carbon credit seed fund

The urgency to address the carbon credit demand gap comes following the successful inaugural carbon credit auction posted by the Bursa Carbon Exchange (BCX) on March 16, 2023, where 15 buyers acquired 150,000 Verra-registered carbon credits.

KUALA LUMPUR: ESG Solutions Sdn Bhd said it is awaiting official guidelines following the government's allocation of RM10mil for Malaysia's carbon credit seed fund on March 8, 2023.

"ESG Solutions views this seed fund as a unique opportunity for local clients to pioneer technology-driven carbon credit seed funding," it said in a statement.
