Energy Commission reopens Green Energy Tariff programme


The EC said the GET programme would enable renewable energy 100-focused and environmental, social and governance-conscious companies and industries to immediately obtain certified green energy up to 100% of their monthly electricity consumption.

PETALING JAYA: The Energy Commission (EC) will be reopening the Green Energy Tariff (GET) programme from today with an available green energy quota of 1,899 gigawatt hours for the five-month contract period from Aug 1, 2023 to Dec 31, 2023.

In a statement, the EC said the GET programme would enable renewable energy 100 (RE100)-focused and environmental, social and governance-conscious companies and industries to immediately obtain certified green energy up to 100% of their monthly electricity consumption.
