Analabs quoted securities in Maybank stands at RM21.57mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Analabs Resources Bhd has acquired quoted securities in Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) between December 21, 2022, and today, amounting to RM21.57 million.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the chemicals trading outfit said the aggregate of the purchase consideration has exceeded 5.0 per cent of the Analabs Group’s audited consolidated net assets as at April 30, 2022.

"The shares were purchased in the open market at prevailing prices as quoted on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd and funded by the group’s share margin account.

"The acquisition was carried out with the intention of deriving dividend income and for potential capital gains,” Analabs said. - Bernama
