AirAsia X’s seat capacity surges in second quarter of 2023


AirAsia X said the increase was due to additional aircraft brought into service and the expansion of its network.

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia X Bhd’s (AirAsia X) seat capacity surged by over 26 times year-on-year (y-o-y) to 818,422 seats in the second quarter of 2023 (2Q23) from 30,537 seats in 2Q22.

In a statement yesterday, it said the increase was due to additional aircraft brought into service and the expansion of its network.
