Kee Ming debuts strongly on ACE Market


KUALA LUMPUR: ACE Market-debutant Kee Ming Group Bhd made its debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia at 79 sen, a 41 sen premium, or 107.89%, over its initial public offering price of 38 sen, with 15.51 million shares traded.

The stock soared 128.95%, or 49 sen, to 87 sen at 5pm yesterday, making it the third top gainer on Bursa Malaysia, with 78.99 million shares traded.

Managing director Liew Kar Hoe said the company aims to focus on several key sectors in the coming years, namely renewable energy, interconnection facilities and high-voltage, data centre development, and the design and build of industrial projects.

He said that with encouraging demand across the sectors, the company is eager to capture opportunities rather than set limits, including in Sabah and Sarawak, particularly the latter.
