Ringgit eases further against the dollar


At 6pm, the ringgit stood at 4.5375/5420 against the greenback.

PETALING JAYA: The ringgit eased further against the dollar at the close yesterday, in tandem with regional currencies on lingering concerns over China’s economic growth, despite the softer greenback.

The dollar languished near its lowest level since April 2022 touched last Friday after the soft US consumer price index and producer price index reports, said an analyst.
