SINGAPORE: Singapore Airlines Ltd chief executive officer Goh Choon Phong was paid S$6.7mil (US$5mil or RM23.3mil) last financial year, an 86% increase that puts him among the best-paid leaders in the industry.
Emerging from the pandemic with a record annual profit, Singapore Airlines said it would pay employees a bonus of about eight months’ salary, Bloomberg News reported last month. Goh, 59, had a base salary of S$1.1mil (RM3.8mil), according to the airline’s annual report, which was published yesterday.
