Sime Darby, Ramsay Health Care mulling sale of JV company


KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Bhd and its partner, Ramsay Health Care Ltd, Australia's largest private hospital operator, are exploring the possibility of selling its 50:50 joint venture company, Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care Sdn Bhd.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Sime Darby said it will make the necessary announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd if and when there is a definite corporate proposal by the company.

Trading of the stock was halted at 9 am this morning pending the announcement, and resumed at 10 am. - Bernama
