SEATTLE: A few hundred Amazon.com Inc. employees walked off the job to protest the company’s return-to-work (RTW) policies, impact on the climate and deepest-ever round of layoffs.

The protest, organised by Amazon Employees for Climate Justice and Amazon’s Remote Advocacy group, took place at the company’s Seattle headquarters during the lunch hour.
