Vietnam industrial production rises in April

HANOI: The index of industrial production (IIP) in April is estimated to have increased by 3.6% on month and by 0.5% over the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

However, the office also reported that the IIP in the first four months of 2023 decreased by 1.8% on year. The IIP growth in the first four months of 2022 was 7.8%.
