BEIJING: China’s foreign exchange reserves rose more than expected in April, official data shows, as the dollar fell against other major currencies.
The country’s foreign exchange reserves – the world’s largest – rose US$21bil (RM93bil) to US$3.2 trillion (RM14.4 trillion) last month, compared with US$3.1 trillion (RM14.2 trillion) tipped by a Reuters poll of analysts and US$3.184 trillion (RM14.1 trillion) in March.
