Fresh rally of glove counters unlikely

PETALING JAYA: The resurgence of Covid-19 since last month is not expected to give rise to fresh robust demand in the local glove industry or spark a fresh rally in the price of the glove counters, according to industry insiders and analysts.

Fortress Capital Asset Management Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Thomas Yong said the surge in price of glove stocks is due to a technical rebound given prices had fallen over the past two years from very high levels.
