Banks, plantations drag FBM KLCI


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI finished marginally lower on Monday as index-linked banking and plantation stocks declined while overall trading volume on Bursa Malaysia steadied around three billion shares.

At the close, the benchmark index declined 0.23 of a point to 1,434.90, with 16 out of the 30 constituent counters falling into the red.
