Country Heights appoints Mircle Yap as MD


KUALA LUMPUR: Country Heights Holdings Bhd has appointed Datuk Mircle Yap Ching Chai as its new managing director.

In a statement, the property developer said Yap previously served as an independent director on the company’s board and has now risen to lead the company's strategic growth and development.

"I am confident that Datuk Mircle's extensive experience and expertise will be pivotal in steering our company towards greater growth and profitability,” said company founder Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew.

According to the statement, Yap has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and corporate sectors, having played diverse and crucial roles in equity fundraising, M&A, and IPO advisory transactions across Asia, Europe, and the US.

Since 2004, Yap has served as strategic investment advisor at Quarto Capital LLC and Exalt Capital Group Investment, Commissioner at PT Envy Technologies TBK, supervisory board member at Valens Holding AG, and advisor at Zhuding International Limited.

Additionally, he was a non-executive director in several UK-listed companies from 2011 to 2017.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Yap is also actively involved in NGOs and charitable organisations.
