Mah Sing partners CECC to assist investors

Mah Sing supports the government’s efforts to bring Chinese investments into the country, says Leong.

KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd has partnered with the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce (CECC) to assist Chinese investors in setting up their manufacturing facilities in Malaysia and promoting Malaysia-China strategic partnerships.

Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said Mah Sing supports the government’s efforts to bring Chinese investments into the country.

“We will collaborate with CECC to provide a one-stop service for Chinese investors so they can quickly familiarise themselves with Malaysia’s real estate climate, as well as the manufacturing industries and government investment policies,” he said in a statement, as reported by Bernama.

This followed Mah Sing’s participation as a high-level business delegation in the Malaysia-China Business Forum 2023 in Beijing led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

During the trip, Leong met with China Electronic Chamber of Commerce secretary-general Peng Luhui.

“Mah Sing will support CECC members, from sourcing for land to setting up production facilities up to export of goods for international markets,” he said.

“Mah Sing has more than 40 years of entrepreneurship experience in manufacturing and property development in Malaysia, and we believe our extensive experience makes us the ideal partner for Chinese companies looking to invest here in Malaysia.

“Our relationships with these Chinese companies will also help to expand Malaysia-China economic and trade relations.”
