Enra inks RM41mil bareboat charter contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Enra Group Bhd's subsidiary Hexagon Energy Logistics Sdn Bhd has entered into a bareboat charter contract (BBC) with 7Seas Maritime Transportation - FZCO for the charter of chemical oil tanker Ratu Enra.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract is worth at least US$9.32mil (about RM41mil) over a five-year period with a mutual option to extend for another five years.

The charter period will begin immediately after the end of Ratu Enra's current charter contract in Yetagun on June 5, 2023.

"This BBC Contract is expected to contribute positively to ENRA Group’s earnings per share and net assets per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2024," it said.
