Labuan’s largest serviced office operator expands to Kuala Lumpur

LABUAN: Labuan’s largest serviced offices operator, Universal Serviced Offices & Management Ltd (USO), has expanded its operations to Peninsular Malaysia following an overwhelming response from business establishments nationwide.

First established in Labuan in February 2021, USO will officially open its coworking and serviced office branch in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, in May under Universal Services Office Sdn Bhd.

USO chief executive officer Hesham Mansour said the interior design of the serviced offices is based on a Parisian-styled facility.

“We decided to expand our operation to the peninsula after considering the potential market owing to the limited and pricey office space rental around Kuala Lumpur.

“Our luxury Parisian-styled office, which is equipped with all necessary facilities and office furniture, is at an affordable cost (rental),” he told Bernama on Saturday.

Hesham said USO continues its trademark in providing aesthetically outstanding facilities with enthusiastic and knowledgeable client support in a pleasant office environment.

USO Serviced Offices Bangsar South is located within easy walking distance to the Kerinchi LRT station, food and beverages outlets, supermarkets, medical centres, hotels, banks, pharmacies and convenience stores, among others.

Hesham said its Bangsar South branch offers 153 fully equipped working stations, besides 12 workstations in the open/shared co-working space.

“The working station is able to accommodate one to nine people. We can also reconfigure to accommodate many more per working station,” he said.

Similar to its Labuan facility, USO said its Bangsar South branch also has meeting and discussion rooms, a lounge, a pantry, phone booths for privacy, booth and cafe-style table seating within a ‘high-end boutique’ setting ideal for a break.

USO, since April 2022, is the first Malaysian-based co-working company to accept bitcoin and ethereum cryptocurrencies for payment.
