Privasia appoints Yip Kit Weng as director

PETALING JAYA: Privasia Technology Bhd has appointed Yip Kit Weng as director with immediate effect.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Privasia said Yip, 51, has approximately 30 years of experience in equity fundraising, corporate finance and advisory services, corporate banking, private debt securities issuances and private equity transactions.

“Prior to this, he was the deputy group managing director of Affin Hwang Investment Bank Bhd from October 2019 to November 2021.”

Additionally, Yip was also appointed a member of Privasia’s audit committee.

Privasia said the new composition of the audit and risk management committee members are Haida Shenny Hazri, Haslinda Hussein, Leong Kah Chern and Yip.
