KUALA LUMPUR: G Capital Bhd
’s (GCAP) 70%-owned subsidiary, Solarcity Malaysia Sdn Bhd, has completed the installation and commenced operation of a 2,380.32 KWp solar photovoltaic (PV) electric power generation system with Chin Well Fasteners Co Sdn Bhd.
In a statement, GCAP said the solar PV system was installed at Chin Well Fasteners’ premise in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia.
Executive director Datuk Yap Yee Ping said: "I am pleased with the completion and commissioning of this 2,380.32 KWp Solar PV System. With that, we have energised 17.41 MWp solar PV system this year and currently monetising from 18.51 MWp operating Solar PV Systems in possession for estimated yearly revenue of RM5.88mil.”
