Trading ideas: Pansar, TNB, Hibiscus Petroleum, Revenue and Stella


KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks in focus on Monday incude Pansar, TNB, Hibiscus Petroleum, Revenue and Stella, said Apex Research.

Pansar Bhd said it has secured a contract worth RM67.11 million for roadworks in Samarahan, Sarawak.

Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has secured financing of up to RM185 million for its third large-scale solar project in Bukit Selambau, Kuala Muda, Kedah.

Hibiscus Petroleum said its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Anasuria Hibiscus UK Ltd, is set to operate in its North Sea block on a 100% interest basis after it was assigned the remaining 30% interest in the related UK petroleum production from its partner.

Revenue Group is planning a bonus issue of up to 105.57 million Warrants B, on the basis of one warrant for every six existing shares held to raise proceeds between RM71.54 million and RM95.01 million for working capital.

Stella Holdings is offloading its healthcare business to Panorama Elit Sdn Bhd for RM12 million cash, as part of its efforts to streamline and focus on its core construction and property development segments.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could remain volatile and hove beyond the resistance of 1,427 points.

The US market declined on Friday as bond yields spiked and a consumer survey from the University of Michigan showed inflation expectations were increasing.

Earlier, European stocks rose after the U.K. government reversed some of its controversial fiscal policies and the country’s finance minister, Kwasi Kwarteng, was fired.
