HeiTech Padu bags RM66.84mil contract from Mindef


KUALA LUMPUR: Heitech Padu Bhd has bagged a five-year contract worth RM66.84 million from the Ministry of Defence (Mindef).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, HeiTech said under the letter of award signed with Mindef on Sept 8, 2022, the technology company would provide maintenance on the tactical operational flight trainer, computer-based training and enhanced training aid system at Bangunan Simulator Sukhoi 30-MKM.

The company would also provide an air defence simulator system and upgrade the existing system.

HeiTech said the contract is expected to have positive effects on the company’s future earnings, net assets and earnings per share, and will have no material effect on the dividend policy, share capital and substantial shareholdings of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022. - Bernama
