Econpile bags RM40mil RTS Link-related job

KUALA LUMPUR: Econpile Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM40 million sub-contract from Ekovest Construction Sdn Bhd.

The piling specialist said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, will undertake Package 2A comprising the construction and piling work at the Immigration, Custom and Quarantine Complex (ICQC) for Rapid Transit System Link (RTS Link) between Johor Bahru and Singapore.

"The project is divided into two sections and the overall duration of the project is 13 months from Sept 1, 2022,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Econpile said the project is expected to contribute positively to its revenue and earnings starting from the financial year ending June 30, 2023. - Bernama
