ON Aug 4, the Dewan Rakyat expanded the Sales Tax Act 2018 with a provision to tax low-value goods sold online and delivered to Malaysia. The move, a part of Budget 2022’s revenue sustainability initiative, is expected to bring in an additional RM200mil per year.
