Former Bursa chairman in Media Prima

PETALING JAYA: Media Prima Bhd has appointed Datuk Shireen Ann Zaharah Muhiudeen, the former non-executive chairman of Bursa Malaysia Bhd, as an independent non-executive director.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Media Prima stated Shireen, 59, is well experienced and served various public-listed companies which include a port as well as a local bank. She has also served on a foreign bank board.

She founded Corston-Smith Asset Management in 2004, an environmental, social and governance asset management company that was an early signatory to the principles for responsible investment, supported by the United Nations in 2008.
