Petronas retains position as world's strongest oil and gas brand


The national oil producer reported a profit after tax (PAT) of RM23.44bil, thanks to Brent-grade crude oil prices averaging US$102.23 (RM447.77) per barrel in the first quarter.

KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has maintained its position as the world’s strongest oil and gas (O&G) brand for the third consecutive year, according to the Brand Finance 2022 annual report on the most valuable and strongest O&G brands.

The company also remains among the top 10 most valuable O&G brands globally in 2022.
