SMG bounces back, revenue up 22% in 1Q22


The company, which made a net profit of RM2.5mil during 1Q22, said revenue was RM52.1mil in the quarter from RM42.6mil in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

PETALING JAYA: Star Media Group Bhd (SMG) returned to the black with revenue increasing by 22.3% during the first quarter of its 2022 financial year (1Q22) as economic activities improved.

The company, which made a net profit of RM2.5mil during 1Q22, said revenue was RM52.1mil in the quarter from RM42.6mil in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
