KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks in focus on Friday include G3 Global, Ajiya, ES Ceramics Technology, CIMB Group, Computer Forms (Malaysia), Favelle Favco and Malaysian Bulk Carriers, said JF Apex Research.

G3 Global Bhd has secured a RM118.38mil contract from Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) to jointly develop an airport integrated security and safety system (AIS3).

Ajiya Bhd has announced the resignation of its managing director Datuk Chan Wah Kiang.

ES Ceramic Technology Bhd has proposed to acquire Evermix Concrete Sdn Bhd for RM83mil in a bid to diversify into the manufacturing and trading of construction materials.

CIMB Group Holdings Bhd is mulling to split the chief executive officer (CEO) job at its group wholesale banking segment into two.

Computer Forms (Malaysia) Bhd’s shareholders were advised to reject the takeover bid by Datuk Seri Dr Jacky Pang as the offer price of 60 sen per share is deemed as "not fair" and "not reasonable" by independent adviser.

Favelle Favco Bhd has declared a first interim dividend of 85 sen per share.

Businessmen Datuk Chin Yoke Choon and Datuk Chin Yoke Kan have emerged as substantial shareholders of Malaysian Bulk Carriers Bhd (Maybulk) after their private vehicle Tunas Capital Sdn Bhd acquired a 16% stake in the dry bulk carrier last week.

Meanwhile, JF Apex said the FBM KLCI could remain under pressure and test the support at 1,575 points following the bearish performance in Wall Street.
