Accor teams up with Paramount on Mercure

KUALA LUMPUR: Multinational hospitality group Accor has teamed up with property group Paramount Corp Bhd to introduce Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Accor South-East Asia, Japan and South Korea chief executive officer Garth Simmons said the 229-room hotel, located in the new integrated development of Utropolis Glenmarie, is a significant addition to Accor’s mid-scale brand portfolio in Malaysia.“It joins the global Mercure network with more than 810 hotels in over 60 countries,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The hotel is within walking distance from an international university and surrounding food and beverage outlets, within a residential and industrial enclave where top international companies have their corporate offices. — Bernama
