HSS Engineers unit accepts RM16.27mil consultancy contract

KUALA LUMPUR: HSS Engineers Bhd's unit HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd (HSSI) has accepted a RM16.27mil contract from Sambungan Lebuhraya Timur Sdn Bhd to provide engineering consultancy services for an upcoming infrastructure facility in the Klang Valley.

In a bourse filing, the engineering services group said HSSI’s scope of services under the contract shall include preparing and finalising the preliminary and detailed engineering design for the project and to provide the relevant technical advisory services.

The contract commenced on Jan 24, 2022, and will run for duration of six years and seven months.

"The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the revenue, earnings and net assets of HEB Group for financial years ending 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2028," it added.

At midday, shares in HSS Engineers was trading unchanged at 50.5 sen on the back of 168,000 shares exchanging hands.

Its warrants were down 0.5 sen or 12.5% to 3.5 sen.
