AME gets SC nod for REIT listing


PETALING JAYA: AME Elite Consortium Bhd has received approval from the Securities Commission for the proposed establishment and listing of AME Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the establishment of AME REIT, an Islamic REIT, will have an initial fund size of 520 million units.

“The proposed listing is subject to the approval of Bursa, AME shareholders, shareholders of the vendors and consent from the financier,” it said. — Bernama
