KUALA LUMPUR: On Friday, investors could be keeping a watchful eye on Gas Malaysia, SKP Resources, LYC Healthcare, Vizione, Cahya Mata Sarawak, Scomi Energy Services and Sapura Energy, according to JF Apex Research.

Gas Malaysia has declared a final dividend of 6.87 sen per share for its FY21.

SKP Resources has appointed TÜV Rheinland Malaysia Sdn Bhd to conduct an independent third-party social compliance audit of its labour practices and operations.

LYC Healthcare has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary known as LYC Beauty & Wellness Sdn Bhd, which will offer cosmetics, personal care and wellness related products and services.

Vizione and China's Hubei Wuqiao Geotechnical Engineering Co Ltd plan to explore building materials trading and dealership opportunities in Malaysia.

Cahya Mata Sarawak is venturing into the energy sector via the acquisition of Scomi Energy Services Bhd’s oilfield operations for RM21mil.

Sapura Energy said three more of its subsidiaries have been served with winding-up petitions on March 7 and 9, due to non-payment of outstanding sums.

Meanwhile, JF Apex said the FBM KLCI could extend its rebound rally towards the resistance of 1,620 points following the positive performance on Wall Street.

The US market rose over 1% overnight after the Federal Reserve raise interest rates by 25 basis point and signaled more hikes this year.

Similarly, European stocks climbed after the Bank of England raised interest rates and struck a dovish tone amid the Russia-Ukraine war.
