KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Wira Azhar Abdul Hamid has resigned as chairman and director of Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) effective March 7, 2022.

“MRT Corp takes this opportunity to express our gratitude for the commitment and invaluable contribution made by Azhar during his tenure and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours,” MRT Corp said in a statement.
